Airport Developments Limited (ADL) conducted Sage 300 ERP software training for its staff from 5th to 8th March, 2024 at Mpale cultural village in Mangochi. The training was aimed at equipping some key staff with skills to streamline processes and optimize tasks as well as Integrating ICT into operations to improve financial management and accuracy of the overall efficiency of the company.
The interactive session was designed not only to enhance operational efficiency but also to boost productivity within the organization. By integrating ICT into their daily operations, the organization is not only embracing technological advancements but it is also striving to improve accuracy and service quality for all stakeholders. The staff members left the four-day training inspired and motivated to implement their newly acquired knowledge, knowing that it would lead to a more efficient and effective work environment.
In his closing speech, the CEO of the company Mr. Victor Lungu mentioned that by incorporating ICT into various operations like procurement and finance, the company is heading in the right direction. Additionally, efforts are being made to digitize record management to minimize paperwork, which currently consumes a significant amount of financial resources.
The participants in the training session included the Finance Director, Audit Manager, Engineering Manager, Finance Manager, Planning Manager, Business Development Manager, and ICT Manager.
